ITS A BOY!!!

Finally, we found out it is a boy. Ryan and I are so excited. The official name is Tristan Alexander Szumierz. I have included some pics of the ultrasound of our new baby. We are now leaving the yellow items and moving on to all blue. LOL.

OUR FIRST BABY SHOWER

I had my first baby shower on Saturday morning in New Hampshire. It has been one of those crazy weekends, but lots of fun. Ryan went fishing with the guys, while the ladies had fun too. The baby shower was a Peter Rabbit and Winnie the Pooh theme. It was so cute!! My sister in law Shannon has the cutest ideas. I have included some pics of the decorations and the gifts. It was so nice because we got some really nice things that we needed. Some of the items included a stroller, feeding chair, baby monitor and take along swing. The best idea was that everyone brought a book for our little one. I love this because you can never have too many books and I can't wait to share them with our little girl or boy. Enjoys the pics.

Ryan and I finally got to pick out a stroller from BABIES-R-US. We never realized how complicated strollers can be. Luckily, we had a wonderful sales rep to help us with the set up. We love this GRACO Stroller and car seat. I have included pics of our new stroller and of Ryan putting it together. This is so exciting!! We have to say thank you for Shannon, Nana and Mckeevers for the wonderful gift.

18 weeks pregnant!! This pregnancy is going by so fast. In case everyone was wondering, I find out at 22 weeks if it is a girl or boy. Yes, we are finding out. Everyone has been asking where we are registered at. Well we now have an answer. Ryan and I just registered at Target and had a blast. We got some free diapers and coupons with our registry.

Here are some pics of my belly starting to show at 13 weeks. I can't believe I am this far along already. My clothes are starting to get a little tight and I think I need to do some clothes shopping. I have also included some pics of our small red sox collection for the baby. Yes, Ryan is starting with the Red Sox already.

The time has finally come!! Ryan and I are having our first baby. We know a lot of our family and friends live far away and we wanted to share the progress with everyone. I am currently 13 weeks pregnant and my official due date is Sept 4, 2010. Yes, my due date is on labor day, how convenient. As of right now, we still do not know if the baby is a boy or girl. Anyways, we hope everyone enjoys the pictures and notes to follow along with us. Please pray for us that everything goes well and that we have a healthy baby. We are so excited and hope you enjoy the blog.
